Microbial genomics and bioinformatics

Microbial genomics and bioinformatics are rapidly growing fields that utilize advanced computational tools and techniques to study the genetic information of microorganisms. This track will cover a wide range of topics related to the analysis of microbial genomes and the application of bioinformatics tools in microbiology. Sessions will include discussions on the latest advances in genome sequencing technologies, comparative genomics, metagenomics, and functional genomics. Participants will also learn about the use of bioinformatics tools for data analysis, annotation, and interpretation of microbial genomes, as well as the integration of genomic and metagenomic data with other omics technologies. The sessions will highlight the impact of genomics and bioinformatics on microbial research and the potential for these tools to drive innovation in fields such as biotechnology, medicine, and environmental science.
